Meet Jack Perez of Singing Pond Farm, taste some of his freshly grown veggies, and discover the people and passion behind your local food at Sweet Beet Market!

Founded in 2023, Singing Pond Farm is a family-owned farm growing produce and cut flowers using sustainable, low-till, organic farming practices. Jack and Audrey started the farm with a mission that goes beyond growing good food: strengthening the local food system, building community connections, and sharing a portion of each harvest with local organizations working to address food insecurity.

Sniff, nibble, explore, & play, then take a garden away!

SHEI is delighted to partner with Kelly Dwyer of Nature Education Opportunities, and Xochi Salazar of the Kearsarge Food Hub (KFH) to host a celebration of our natural world!

Children will explore the wonders of NH's wetlands by creating investigation stations to examine the insects living in the pond’s muddy substrate, searching the water's edge for mammal tracks and amphibious life, and challenging each other to peek at critters in the "mystery habitat containers."

We have a mission—and a deadline. To keep our programs rooted and growing, we must increase KFH’s monthly income by $1,500 by MAY 24th.

Right now, hundreds of young people across the Kearsarge Region rely on our farm and garden education to learn, eat, and thrive. But we can’t sustain this vital work on hope alone.

We need sustainable, predictable support.

We'll gather at the newly renovated Bradford Town Hall with delicious food from Sweet Beet Cafe and dig into the collective impact of our nonprofit work from last year and the past decade of service.

2026 Farm + Forest Club Spring Session

We are so excited to announce that the Kearsarge Food Hub's Farm + Forest Club is BACK, open to children ages 6-11. 

Farm + Forest Club is a drop off, once a week, immersive outdoor education program held Thursdays from 10am-4pm. 

Multi-week sessions will be held throughout the year in Spring, Summer & Fall. Students will gather together with peers and educators to grow and eat food, connect to nature, and build their environmental science knowledge and skills.

The Food Security Summit by FEED Kearsarge is an annual gathering that brings together the people and organizations working to expand food access, education, and distribution across the Kearsarge / Lake Sunapee region.

Taking place on Saturday, April 18th from 9:00am–3:00pm at Kearsarge Regional High School in North Sutton, NH, the summit offers a full day of connection, learning, and collaboration with refreshments and lunch provided.
