2025 Community Fair Reflections
On September 27th, we welcomed friends and neighbors to the lawn around Sweet Beet Market + Cafe for Kearsarge Food Hub and Friends’ 5th Annual Community Fair. The sun was shining, the autumn air was fresh, the food was delicious, the art was beautiful, and the music was rockin’—we couldn’t ask for a more beautiful day!
Seeing everyone stroll through with their kids, dogs, friends, smiles, and hugs was incredibly nourishing. Probably the best response to the fair we’ve heard is that it was a healing experience. What an honor to be a part of that, and we couldn’t agree more. It’s the quality of these connections that keep us going!
This was the 5th year hosting our annual Community Fair, and also a celebration of our 10 year anniversary as a nonprofit organization serving the Kearsarge region through recentering food at the heart of our community. The food we grow, eat, and share here at home holds tremendous power to bring people together. We all gotta eat!
Can’t wait to see you all again next year!
