Love Local: Meeting the Moment!
November 6th | In Person & FREE Live Broadcast
Right now, there is so much going on in our bigger world that feels way out of our control. It’s easy to feel hopeless or overwhelmed by current events, leaving us wondering what can we do to help or where should we even start??
That’s why this year’s theme, Love Local: Meeting the Moment, emphasizes the importance and power of collective action on the local level. We’ll examine the state of our food landscape here in NH and discover tangible ways to invest in a healthier, more equitable food future for everyone.
What makes this year’s Love Local event so special is we have an amazing group of leaders joining us for a panel discussion.
These are some of the leading minds in food and agriculture from across New Hampshire who are meeting the moment and adapting in real time as the food and agriculture landscape shifts and new challenges present themselves every day.
We'll hear directly from them about their work, the organizations they lead, and how we can all join them in meeting this moment through showing up and taking action one step at a time.
Register to join us in person - we have limited spaces to be together in the Community Room at Sweet Beet with a special reception before the panel discussion. Or you can register for the link to the free live broadcast and tune in from anywhere on November 6th!
We will leave the event feeling informed, inspired, and equipped to build a joyful, food secure future where we all can thrive!
2025 Marks the 10 Year Anniversary of the Kearsarge Food Hub!
It started with a pilot project: growing veggies on Sweet Beet Farm and selling them, along with products from 30+ producers within a 30-mile radius, at Sweet Beet Farm Stand on Route 114 in Bradford, NH.
Today, KFH has grown into a dynamic nonprofit organization with community services that include Sweet Beet Farm + Market + Café, food security and educational programming, and efforts to build community connections around vibrant agriculture and nourishing local food!
