Food Security Report
Kearsarge Food Hub partnered with Dartmouth Health’s Center for Advancing Rural Health Equity to create a Food Security Report focused on the Kearsarge Region.
This report outlines insights from distinct but interconnected areas related to regional food security, including context and demographics, food access and the food environment, food assistance, nutrition and diet-related health outcomes, and the local food system.
Community Garden Spotlight: A New Space at River Valley Community College
In 2020, a group of community organizations, including the Kearsarge Food Hub, came together to address food insecurity and mental health concerns in the Kearsarge region of New Hampshire exacerbated by the pandemic and co-created the FEED (Food Expansion, Education, Distribution) Kearsarge initiative.
