New Leadership Sparks Fresh Beginnings at Kearsarge Food Hub!

The Kearsarge Food Hub team is excited to share that we have hired a new Executive Director to help us grow into the next decade: Rob McGregor!

Please join us in welcoming Rob to the team! We had many great candidates apply for this position, and Rob rose to the surface as a committed leader with both the skills and the heart to help the organization grow meaningfully into the years ahead.

Rob brings to the Kearsarge Food Hub a track record of nonprofit leadership, with deep experience in financial, strategic and organizational management. He served as the Executive Director of the Southern District YMCA, where he helped transform the organization into a vibrant community hub by developing a 33,000-square-foot full facility, growing Camp Lincoln, A 67-acre summer and year-round camp, and adopting a Community Farm/CSA, that focused on community volunteerism and educational farm camps.

In recent years, Rob has continued to innovate and lead with purpose. He converted an 18-acre property into Westcott Farm, focusing on growing organic food and building community, served as the Executive Director of LISTEN Community Services in Lebanon, and is co-founding The Upper Valley Community Kitchen in Hanover—a nonprofit aimed at tackling food insecurity and supporting local economic development through a “buy one/give one” meal model and a welcoming community coffee house.

Kearsrage Food Hub’s new Executive Director, Rob McGregor

Rob brings a passion for the mission of the Kearsarge Food Hub, a depth of experience, and has a true team-oriented approach (he's a camp guy!)

“I’m thrilled to join the team here at the Kearsarge Food Hub and look forward to helping lead the organization into its next decade of service with such a solid foundation to grow from.

It’s been a joy meeting everyone this week and getting the lay of the land. There are so many people sharing this contagious energy and enthusiasm for what the Kearsarge Food Hub offers in the community, from staff members to customers to volunteers. I’m absorbing it all by osmosis —and I know I’m just scratching the surface!

It’s evident that there is tremendous heart and passion in this community that has grown here around the urgent need to feed neighbors, support farmers, nourish the land, and bring people together. It truly gives me hope! “

The Kearsarge Food Hub team is deeply grateful to have found such a great fit for this important position, especially at this time in our development. Bringing on a new executive director with the level of experience and vision that Rob brings to the table is a critical step in actively building our capacity to deepen our impact. With a dedicated board of directors, a great team of committed co-founders and staff members, and a strategic planning process underway, the organization is poised to take it’s community service to the next level!
