Farm-Based Education

One core function of the farm is to be open as a resource for learning in the community. We happily welcome students and folks of all ages to come learn and explore growing food in harmony with nature.

On the farm we explore ideas like

  • Where food comes from

  • How farms fit into the food system

  • The life cycle of plants

  • Regenerative farming methods

  • Resource management

  • Respect and love for nature

We work with all levels to create an experience in the soil and that helps to augment classroom learning and provide context and perspective.
